1. Install rain shield

There are generally two kinds of rain shields for economical tubes. One is glued on the top of the rearview mirror, and the other is inserted in the gap between the rearview mirror and the frame. Pan Xudong recommends that you choose the former one, because it is not only easy to install, but if you want to remove it, you can just remove it, and then do some glue removal. If it is the latter kind of rain shield, it is not easy to judge the thickness of the rain shield before unpacking.

Sometimes the rain shield you buy is too thick, and it will hinder the rotation of the rear-view mirror when it is inserted into the rear-view mirror. The price of rain shield is generally 20-50 yuan, which is relatively economical.

Comment: When the rain is not very heavy, the rain shield is still very useful, but in strong wind and heavy rain, the role of the rain shield will be weakened, but at least one-third of the rearview mirror can be guaranteed to be clear.

2. Equipped with heated rearview mirror

Good effect and high cost

Refitting or replacing the rearview mirror with a rearview mirror with heating function is also more effective, but the cost is higher. The rearview mirrors of some high-profile cars have a heating function, which can evaporate water vapor. The rearview mirror of some models can be replaced directly, but the standard car does not have it. Therefore, the Bora car can directly install this kind of heated rearview mirror. The wiring in the car is reserved in advance and no changes are required. But the cost is relatively high, about 3,000 yuan. If you can’t choose to install it, you can modify it yourself and install a thick heating wire in the rearview mirror. This modification generally requires some changes to the original wiring in the car. But this modification does not apply to all cars. Because the heating wire needs to be heated, if the motor gear in the rearview mirror is made of plastic instead of iron, this modification cannot be done. Moreover, some low-displacement cars, such as Xiali, are not suitable for this modification, because the sum of the power of the two rearview mirror heating wires is equivalent to the power of a rear window defroster. After a low-displacement car is installed, it will cause insufficient power.

3. Water-displacing agent

Different effects

There are some water repellents available on the market, which have the effect of making the surface of the rearview mirror water-free, and some products cost about 50 yuan per bottle. But judging from actual use, the effect of general water-displacing agents is not very significant. Jiao Yang said that he had used an imported "Rain Enemy Antifogging Agent", which had a very good effect. It can last for one month after rubbing it. The more rain, the clearer the mirror. However, the price of this water-displacing agent is more expensive, about 800 yuan per bottle.

4. Wipe the detergent on the mirror surface

General effect

A temporary method is to put some car wax on the mirror surface, or rub some detergent, soapy water, etc., to maintain the effect for one or two days. However, light rain is still easy to absorb on the mirror surface, and the effect is relatively better in heavy rain.

5. Replace the rearview mirror in the car with a large field of view
